Law Talk Today.TV has an interesting story. In 1985, host Mark Gruber, a local attorney employed a paralegal named Mercedes Walker. Mercedes was a student at Morris County College taking media and communication courses.  Ordinarily, the students would have internships at local radio stations and newspapers. Being the base player and lead singer in her own rock band, Mercedes proposed to the college that she produce two television shows. The first was called FOCUS ON THE ARTS where she would spotlight local musicians, and the second show she proposed was called LEGAL FORUM.  Her college professors approved both, and one day she went to her boss and said, “Hey boss, how would you like to have your own T.V. show?”  Gruber, who had no media experience, couldn’t refuse the offer. The rest is history and the show is now back on the air.

The hosts, Gruber and Agatino, make the shows available to local colleges, community colleges, high schools, and other civic groups, along with speakers to talk about the various topics.
